We grew up in Hyderabad, where food isn't just a meal—it's an experience. The bold flavors of our mother's home-cooked biryanis, the slow-simmered curries, and the smoky kebabs were the soul of our childhood. Hyderabad's rich Mughal-inspired cuisine, paired with its legendary restaurant culture, shaped our love for food.

When we moved to Canada, we longed for the taste of home. So, we started Desi Boyz Chat Chaska, a humble street food cart serving the chaats and snacks we grew up with. The response was overwhelming—people craved the same bold, spice-infused flavors that defined our upbringing.

Now, Biryani & Beyond is the next step in our journey. A place where the aromas of slow-cooked biryanis and the sizzle of Hyderabadi delicacies bring a piece of our heritage to Canada. This isn't just food—it's our story, served on a plate.

Meet Our Chef – Raza

In Hyderabad, the true test of a chef lies in the grand, lavish weddings where food isn't just served—it's an experience. Some of the finest, most flavorful dishes come from these celebrations, where generations-old techniques transform simple ingredients into something extraordinary.

Our head chef, Raza, mastered the art of Hyderabadi cuisine in this very setting. As a wedding caterer in Hyderabad, he learned the secrets of slow cooking, layering spices, and drawing out deep, rich flavors that define the city's culinary heritage. From perfecting the delicate balance of a Dum Biryani to creating the most melt-in-your-mouth kebabs, Raza has spent years honing his craft.
